This 8-mile section of the South Fork is a unique
place, rich in history, with 150 ft. sheer rock walls and an abundance of
hot springs. Its name is derived from the nature of the water as tight
turns in the river channel create fascinating whirlpools and eddy lines.
The feeling is one of seclusion in a place of extreme natural beauty,
especially in the evenings! The Full-Day trip floats a few more miles and
includes our famous Dutch Oven Lovin’ – riverside!
